Submitted photoBend Senior High School students took first place on March 14 at the Oregon State National Archery in the Schools Program competition in Grants Pass.

Bend Senior High School’s archery team took first place Saturday at the Oregon State 2015 National Archery in the Schools Program tournament in Grants Pass, earning 3,275 points out of 3,600 possible.

Six girls and six boys from the team placed in the top 10 individually, in addition to the team win. The team win is the second first-place title for the team in as many years. The team is now eligible to compete at the national competition May 8-9 in Louisville, Kentucky.
