Gracie Strom left for Heaven February 25 in Bend, with her daughter, Nansee Bruce at her side.

Grace had been living at TouchMark for the last couple of months enjoying the amenities of

the facility. She had just been written up in Touch- Marks magazine, distributed state wide. Her favorite place was in the bar where she could play the bottles and still feel like she was at The Sea Hag in Depoe Bay, which she owned for 45 years. She was businesswoman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, friend, sister and an incredible mother; she truly was Amazing Grace.

There will be a Celebration of Life 2:00-6:00 p.m. March 28 at the Inn of Otter Crest. An Amazing Gracie Scholarship Fund for Business has been set up with the Oregon Coast Community College; please go to to donate.
