A Prineville police officer deployed a Taser late Friday afternoon when trying to break up a possible fight at Ochoco Creek Park.

Officers responded to the report of a fight at the park at 5:30 p.m. Friday and found about 30 young adults and juveniles, with two of them in a dispute, according to the Prineville Police Department. When a 16-year-old boy resisted arrest, an officer hit him with a stun gun. The boy yanked out the Taser probes and a pair of officers then tackled him.
