Details: The Shevlin Health & Wellness Center, located on 4.7 acres at the southwest corner of NW Shevlin Park Road and NW Crossing Drive is beginning to take shape.
Valerie Yost, director of marketing for Brooks Resources, one of the partner companies in Taylor Brooks LLC, said five of the 11 buildings on the campus have broken ground, with one building already complete.
Six medical and wellness-related businesses have signed onto the project, including The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research, which recently broke ground on the westernmost lot. Jenny King, spokeswoman for The Center, said the building will be about 6,000 square feet, and will be completed in September 2016. The Center’s building will feature 12 exam rooms, along with a procedure room and a room for digital x-rays.
The other companies that have signed onto the project include High Lakes Health Care, Step and Spine, Mountain View Acupuncture, Central Oregon Eye Care, and Pacific NW Audiology. High Lakes Health Care is the only one that is currently open.
The overall medical campus will contain around 67,000 square feet of space, with buildings ranging from 4,250 to 7,500 square feet, according to Yost. She added that future tenants may end up sharing buildings.
