A Bend resident was injured Saturday afternoon in Crook County when the motorcycle she was riding went off the road.
According to the Crook County Sheriff’s Office, Tammy Huber, 39, was riding north on state Highway 27 almost 8 miles south of Prineville when her Harley-Davidson left the road as she attempted to negotiate a curve at around 4:30 p.m. The motorcycle stopped abruptly in the soft dirt of the shoulder, and Huber was ejected.
Huber was wearing a helmet. She was transported to St. Charles Prineville by ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
