Deaths of note from around the world:

Michael Argetsinger, 70: A founder of the International Motor Racing Research Center and an award-winning motorsports author. Died Tuesday of cancer at his home in Chicago.

John Sawyer, 90: Former Cincinnati Bengals president and part owner. Died Thursday morning at a retirement home in Cincinnati after battling health problems for the past four years.

Irwin Keyes, 63: Actor who was Hugo the bodyguard on TV’s “The Jeffersons” and had a long career playing villains and henchmen. Died Wednesday in Southern California.

Helen Harrison, 68: Woman who was so unprepared when her son was born prematurely that she later wrote a popular manual called “The Premature Baby Book: A Parents’ Guide to Coping and Caring in the First Years” for parents in similar situations and became their advocate. Died Saturday at her home in Berkeley, California.

Bonard Fowler, 81: Officer in shooting that led to Selma March when peaceful demonstrators were clubbed, bullwhipped and tear-gassed by state troopers and sheriff’s deputies. Died Sunday in Alabama.
