Wednesday’s winners
Men: Francisco Mancebo attacked with 500 meters to go. The 39-year-old Spaniard finished just ahead of German Flornez Knauer and American Dion Smith.
Women: Kristin Armstong sprinted away from three other riders 200 meters from the finish to win by 1 second. The 41-year-old had a 5-second lead heading into the time trial, a discipline in which she holds two Olympic gold medals.

The Crooked River Time Trial, a 16-mile individual race against the clock beginning and ending in Prineville.
