Beatrice Molina Gomez of Bend, OR, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on July 26, 2015. She was 89.
A Memorial Mass will take place Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Deschutes Memorial Chapel, located at 63875 N. Hwy. 97, in Bend, Oregon
Beatrice was born March 4, 1926, in Houston, TX, one of six children to Pedro and Luz (Alvarez) Molina. She spent most of her childhood in Dallas, TX.
In April of 1952, she married Trinidad M. Gomez. They lived in Dallas and Odessa, TX, until moving to Bend in 2007.
She was always helping with various causes. She was a long-time volunteer at the West Texas Food Bank and served as a member of the Board of Directors.
Beatrice was the “bringer of joy” and loved to laugh, bringing joy to those around her. She was always positive and always looked on the bright side of things.
Beatrice is survived by her husband of 63 years, Trinidad Gomez of Bend; daughter, Lucy (David) Robertson of Bend and two grandchildren, Rene (James) Hanson and Richard Robertson both of Bend. Other survivors include three brothers, Joe R. (Soledad) Molina, Frank (Ernestine) Molina and Peter Molina Jr., all of Dallas, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Mary Palomo and Angelina Rameriz.
Memorial contributions in Beatrices memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association or to a charity of ones choosing.
