Oct. 9-10: Awbrey Glen Fall Classic is a 36-hole stroke play tournament at Awbrey Glen Golf Club in Bend for senior men. Play begins at noon on Friday; 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Tournament is open to any golfer with an official USGA handicap of 36.4 or less. Senior (50 and over) and super senior divisions (65 and over) are available. Oct 10-11: Central Oregon Ironman tournament at Juniper Golf Course in Redmond is an individual stroke-play tournament played with the course’s most difficult setups. Golfers can play at more than 7,300 yards from Juniper’s tips with prizes for both gross and net. There’s also a senior division from closer tees. The course will be set up with fast greens and tucked pins. Tournament begins at noon on Saturday, and at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Cost is $110 for nonmembers, $60 for Juniper members, and includes two rounds of golf and a discounted practice round.
