The Sisters Park & Recreation District will be hosting a meeting for Outlaws lacrosse players, coaches and parents in the drama room at Sisters High on Oct. 7. The newly formed Lacrosse Advisory Committee will discuss its vision for the school’s lacrosse program while answering any questions and concerns during the one-hour meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Former Storm runners perform well at invite

Making his collegiate debut at the Washington Invitational in Seattle on Friday, Summit graduate Matthew Maton placed eighth to help the fifth-ranked Oregon men win the meet. Maton completed the 8,000-meter course in 23 minutes, 27.2 seconds, while fellow Summit grad Travis Neuman finished 17th in 23:36.7.
