Men’s college basketball, Oregon at Alabama, 6 p.m. (ESPNU); Quinnipiac at Oregon State, 6 p.m. (Pac-12 Network): The Ducks (9-2) and Beavers (8-2) are winding up the nonconference portion of their schedules with sights set on facing off in the Pac-12 opener Jan. 3 at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis.

Thursday

NFL football, San Diego at Oakland, 5:25 p.m. (NFL Network): Either or both of these longtime AFL/AFC foes could be calling Los Angeles home next season. For the Raiders, this could be their final game at O.co Coliseum, their Oakland home since 1966.

Friday

NBA basketball, New Orleans at Miami, 9 a.m. (ESPN); Chicago at Oklahoma City, 11:30 a.m. (ABC); Cleveland at Golden State, 2 p.m. (ABC); San Antonio at Houston, 5 p.m. (ESPN); L.A. Clippers at L.A. Lakers, 7:30 p.m. (ESPN): If you are a fan of professional hoops, consider your Christmas stocking stuffed.

Saturday

College football, Foster Farms Bowl in Santa Clara, Calif., UCLA vs. Nebraska, 6:15 p.m. (ESPN): The Cornhuskers and their first-year coach, former Oregon State coach Mike Riley, had some hard-luck losses this season but got a break by being selected to a bowl game despite their losing record.

Saturday

NBA basketball, Cleveland at Portland, 7 p.m. (BlazerNet): LeBron James and the Cavaliers are setting the pace in the Eastern Conference and make their lone visit of the season to the Moda Center on the day after Christmas. The game comes on the heels of a five-game road trip for the Blazers, who are trying to stay in contention in the West.
