ST. LOUIS — Anheuser-Busch is acquiring Colorado’s Breckenridge Brewery, its second U.S. craft beer acquisition announcement in less than a week.

Founded in 1980, Littleton, Colorado-based Breckenridge Brewery’s beers are sold in 35 states. The company is on track to produce 70,000 barrels this year, including Agave Wheat, Avalanche Ale, Breck IPA and Oatmeal Stout.

Financial terms of the acquisition, set to close in the first quarter of 2016, were not disclosed.

“We’re excited about the partnership and have been encouraged to continue on our path and become more innovative moving forward,” Breckenridge Brewery’s president Todd Usry said in a statement.

Breckenridge Brewery is the seventh craft brewery to join A-B’s craft and import unit, The High End. Last week, A-B announced a deal to buy Arizona’s largest craft brewer, Four Peaks Brewery. The other craft brewers A-B has acquired in recent years are: Goose Island Beer Co., Blue Point Brewing Company, 10 Barrel Brewing, Elysian Brewing Company and Golden Road Brewing.
