Lupe was born in Nochiatlan, Mexico, to Jacinto and Pilar Duran. In 1928, her family journeyed to the US, settling in Hayward, CA in 1936.

In 1943, she married Martin J Fareria, and then Joseph M. Perry in 1969.

She was a PTA Honorary Life Member at John Muir Elementary School in Hayward, CA. She moved to Redmond, OR, in October 1994, and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she faithfully volunteered helping with translating and packaging food and clothing for the needy in her community. Lupe enjoyed gardening, cross- stitching, and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Clark of Roundup, Montana, and her son, Larry Fareria of Long Island, New York.

Lupe was a prayer warrior and loved her Lord more than anything!
