Median home price rises in Bend

The median home sales price in Bend in November rose by $4,000, or 1.1 percent, after a drop in October, according to a report released Thursday.

Redmond in November recorded a decrease of $3,000 in the median sales price, though it has still risen by more than 15 percent since last December.

In Bend, the median price for a single-family home rose to $374,000 last month, and is up more than 16 percent since November 2015, according to the report from the Beacon Appraisal Group in Redmond. The most recent median high price in Bend was $385,000, in September, according to the group.

Bend had 196 single-family home sales last month, two more than in October and 54 more than in November 2015.

In Redmond, the median price for a single-family home dropped to $270,000, a decline of just over 1 percent. The Beacon Report showed 86 sales in Redmond in November, the same figure as in October.
