Sunriver course open — The Meadows course at Sunriver Resort is available to play as warm weather allowed the resort to open the course Feb. 3. Cost for the public is $70 until 2 p.m., after which it is $50. Deschutes County residents can play for $60 before 2 p.m. and for $40 after. Lessons available at Meadow Lakes — The Meadow Lakes Lesson Club is open for registration, providing players the opportunity to sharpen their skills prior to the golf season. PGA teaching professional Vic Martin will lead golfers in six 30-minute sessions that cover pre-shot routine, short game, sand play, swings and course management. Cost is $175 and includes a $50 range card and half-priced lessons for the remainder of the season after the initial series of six lessons has been exhausted. Those interested can sign up in the Meadow Lakes golf shop or by calling 541-447-7113. Registration deadline is April 1.
