Dick Cahall

Dick Cahall, beloved husband of Lorna Cahall and loving father of Mike, Lisa and Sean Cahall, passed away on January 21, 2018. He was 82 years old and left behind grandsons, Amadeus and Everest Swisher; and a great-grandson, Saint Swisher.

Dick lived a long and fulfilling life; he attended Saint Johns College in Annapolis, which he loved, worked for IBM through the exciting days of early computer development, sailed on the Chesapeake, raced bikes, retired early to Bend, where he was a vital part of the Central Oregon music community. He was known for and delighted in playing the clawhammer banjo.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church/Saint Helens Hall on March 10 at 2:00 p.m., followed by a jam at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to participate in any or all parts of the service.
