Open Studios — Caldera will host its February Open Studios event from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Caldera Arts Center, 31500 Blue Lake Drive, Sisters. Each month during the winter, Caldera hosts artists, musicians, writers, choreographers and other creative folks, then throws open its doors on the last weekend of their residencies in order for the public to get a peek at what they’ve been up to. Admission is free and no reservations are required. Traditionally, most artists in residence have hailed from Portland or out of state, but Central Oregon artists are making their presence felt, notes Central Oregon Community College visual art instructor Bill Cravis, who is among the February residents. Artist and rapper Jason Graham (aka Mosley Wotta) of Bend is slated to do a residency in March. Applications for 2019 residencies are being accepted through March 15. Contact: calderaarts.org.
