Gregory Nicholas Baker was born in Leadville, Colorado, on June 22, 1949, to Joseph Baker and Geraldine Todd Baker. He passed away in Bend, Oregon, on February 28, 2018.

At the age of six months, his family moved to Oregon. Greg completed his elementary school years in La Grande. The family moved to Portland when he started junior high and he graduated from Parkrose High School in 1967.

He worked in the parts department for Cummins Diesel in Oregon and Washington until retirement.

He was an avid fly fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Greg is survived by his wife, Diane and four stepchildren. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Geri and Ron Gunderson of Redmond; and his brother, Steven Baker (Tamara) of Eugene.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church in Redmond.
