Jacque Lynn (Hamilton) Edmison of Bend, Oregon, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2018 at Partners In Care Hospice House in Bend, Oregon. She was 71. She had courageously fought a five-year long battle with cancer.Jacque was born August 23, 1946 in Corvallis, Oregon, the daughter of Floyd E. and Sadie June (Boots) Hamilton. She grew up in Philomath, Oregon, where she attended Philomath High School, graduating in 1964. She later earned an Associate’s Degree in Business and Accounting from Linn-Benton Community College.

Jacque worked as an office manager at the University level for most of her career. She spent 19 years working at the College of Education at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR and held similar positions at Washington State University in Pullman, WA; Morehead State University in Morehead, KY and the University of Idaho in Boise, ID. She retired in 1998.

She enjoyed travelling, photography, knitting, sewing and family history. She had documented over 55,000 individuals related to the Hamilton and Boots families.Jacque is survived by her husband of 34 years, Glenn Edmison of Bend, Oregon; a brother, Larry Hamilton of Philomath, Oregon and a number of Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Sadie Hamilton. At her request, no memorial service will be held.
