Weekend of Art — Bend Art Center is launching its inaugural Weekend of Art, taking place Thursday through Sunday at Bend Art Center (550 SW Industrial Way, Suite 180) and other nearby galleries and venues. The long weekend kicks off at A6 at Bend Art Center with an Open Portfolio Night from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. A6 founder Patricia Clark will deliver the keynote address at 9 a.m. Saturday at Springhill Suites (551 Industrial Way), and the 2018 Invitational Print Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Box Factory Breezeway. Other weekend events include art talks and art-making in the A6 Print Studio. The weekend also features the debut of the Bend Art Conference, with events aimed at artists and collectors.
