Music on the Green returns to Redmond

Music on the Green, the Redmond Chamber of Commerce’s long-running, family-friendly outdoor concert series in Sam Johnson Park, returned for its 23rd season July 27 with Bend-based nuevo flamenco guitarist Todd Haaby. The series continues Wednesday with another Central Oregon institution (since 2009), classic/dance-rock trio The Bad Cats. Then, look forward to more free performances from some of the region’s finest musicians in all genres every other Wednesday through Sept. 5. The full schedule follows below:

Wednesday — The Bad Cats (classic/dance-rock)

July 25 — Countryfied (country)

Aug. 8 — Downhill Ryder (roots/Americana)

Aug. 22 — Precious Byrd (dance-rock)

Sept. 5 — Hokulea Dancers (Hawaiian dancing/drumming)
