Bend Police Department

Burglary — A burglary, theft and act of criminal mischief were twice reported and an arrest of the same individual twice made at 8:58 a.m. July 24, 2017, and 12:39 a.m. May 20, in the 1200 block of NW Galveston Avenue.

DUII — Donald Ray Carroll, 65, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 9:14 p.m. July 1, in the area of NW Franklin Avenue and NW Hill Street.

Unauthorized use — A vehicle was reported stolen and an arrest made at 11:17 p.m. July 1, in the 3000 block of N. U.S. Highway 97. Charges included criminal possession of a forged instrument, criminal mischief, possession of a stolen vehicle and probation/parole violation.

Burglary — A burglary was reported at 12:19 p.m. July 2, in the 1100 block of NE Fifth Street.

Theft — A theft was reported at 4 p.m. July 2, in the 1800 block of NE Division Street.

Theft — A theft was reported and an arrest made at 7:48 p.m. July 2, in the 1200 block of NE 27th Street.

Theft — A theft was reported at 2:36 p.m. July 3, in the 62000 block of Dean Swift Road.

Theft — A theft was reported at 4:09 p.m. July 3, in the 20600 block of Grandview Drive.

Theft — A theft was reported at 11:09 a.m. July 4, in the 2600 block of NE Community Lane.

Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office

Theft — A theft was reported at 2:58 p.m. July 4, in the 51300 block of U.S. Highway 97 in La Pine.

Oregon State Police

Vehicle crash — An accident occurred with injury at 6:17 p.m. July 3, in the 100 block of W. Cascade Avenue in Sisters. A struck pedestrian was transported to an emergency room with minor injuries.

DUII — Nathaniel York O’Donnell, 24, of La Pine, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 6:36 p.m. July 3, in the area of S. U.S. Highway 97 near milepost 166 in La Pine.

DUII — Timothy Dale Housley, 45, of Redmond, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 8:41 p.m. July 3, in the area of SW Fifth and SW I streets in Madras.

Vehicle crash (fatal)— A single-vehicle fatal accident occurred at 12:14 a.m. July 4, on state Highway 380 near milepost 23 outside of Post. The driver, Joshua Permin, 28, of Post, died at the scene. The passenger, Alfred Lewis Cody, 46, also of Post, was transported via air ambulance to a Bend hospital for serious injuries.

Vehicle crash — A single-vehicle accident was reported at 2:47 a.m. July 4, in the area of George Millican Road near E. state Highway 126 in Prineville. The driver of a tractor-trailer was transported to St. Charles Hospital in Prineville.

DUII — Abraham Torres, 20, of Madras, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 11:47 p.m. July 4, on U.S. Highway 97 near state Highway 126 in Redmond.

DUII — Kyle Anderson, 21, of Bend, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 12:23 a.m. July 5, in the area of N. U.S. Highway 97 near milestone 148 in Bend.

Vehicle crash — An accident was reported at 6:36 a.m. July 5, in the area of N. U.S. Highway 97 near S. Century Drive in Sunriver. Operator transported by OSP to hospital for minor injuries.

Vehicle crash — An accident was reported at 12:47 p.m. July 5, in the area of U.S. Highway 97 and Nels Anderson Road in Bend.
