Stand in the breach with Jackson Browne in Bend

Take it easy with folk-rock songwriting legend Jackson Browne (not a pretender, we swear), who returns to Les Schwab Amphitheater on Tuesday after making his debut at the venue in 2016. The seven-time Grammy Award nominee and writer of hits for The Eagles, Gregg Allman, Joan Baez and more is touring the West Coast with his longtime band featuring multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz. Though Browne’s last album, “Standing in the Breach,” was released in 2014, the songwriter is far from running on empty: Late last year, he released the single “The Dreamer,” a typically biting social commentary on the struggles of immigrants facing deportation in the U.S., with Eugene Rodriguez and Los Cenzontles.

Jackson Browne: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, doors open at 5 p.m.; $45 plus fees for general admission, reserved seating sold out; Les Schwab Amphitheater, 344 SW Shevlin Hixon Drive, Bend; bendconcerts.com or 541-312-8510.
