Etta Beatrice “Bea” Allgood of Bend, passed away August 7, 2018, in Bend. Etta “Bea” was born to Elbert and Faye (George) McCarty on May 25, 1927, in Mitchell, Oregon.

There will be a graveside service at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville, Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 10:00 AM.

She was raised in Mitchell, Oregon, and graduated from Mitchell High School. Bea married Holman “Joe” Allgood in 1947. Joe was a native of Bend and a WWII veteran.

Bea loved to donate to charities such as the Humane Society (she was fond of cats) and the Ronald McDonald House. She also volunteered at the election board of Deschutes County and the Pioneer Volunteer club Network. She worked for ATandT for 38 years. Bea lived her life with heart and energy that benefited her friends and family.

Bea was preceded in death by, both her parents, her husband Joe, and other relatives close by.
