Who: Oil painter Ian Factor’s exhibition “The Baristas of Bend” is on display through Sept. 30 at Franklin Crossing. Factor, the founder, director and lead instructor at Bend Academy of Art has spent over 20 years teaching art, illustration and design to students around the world. While working in various mediums, his current exhibition of oil paintings highlights the coffee slingers of Bend. His work has been featured in noted galleries such as the Uffizi in Italy and international publications including Vogue.
