Bend Fall Festival leaves it all on display this weekend

Cooler temperatures may have arrived a little early this year, but the 2019 Bend Fall Festival is right on time.

While the festival runs all weekend, Friday night is just for music with the rest of the festival running Saturday and Sunday

The Harvest Market features fruits and vegetables from area farmers, locally raised meats and more to fill the stomach and soul this season.

Over 100 artists will display their works on the Fine Artist Promenade on Wall Street between Oregon and Franklin avenues with live demonstrations from the DIY Cave booth.

The demos include blacksmithing, apple cider pressing and sheet metal art.

On Minnesota Avenue between Wall and Bond streets, is where things get tasty. Gourmet foods, coffees, wines, ciders and more from local and regional vendors will be offered for sale and tastes.

For the children, the Family Play Zone on Oregon Avenue is a happening spot to bounce around, grab a balloon animal, paint a pumpkin and have fun.

On Saturday, kids ages 3 to 10 can race through Troy Field during the Harvest Run. Children will be split into age groups, and each runner will receive a pumpkin to paint.

This year’s festival benefits the Center Foundation and its mission to provide medical services to local high schools and student athletes.
