General details: Affinity at Bend is a 170-unit senior community located at Mary Rose Place and 27th Street in Bend. There will be eight studio apartments, 66 one-bedroom and 96 two-bedroom homes.

Other amenities: Indoor pool and spa; Dilly Dally’s Pub; movie theater; fitness center; pickleball court, billiards and game room; workshop; craft studio; dog wash and dog park; library; internet café.

Affinity Living Communities is part of the Inland Group, which specializes in construction and management of multi-family and age-restricted communities. It currently operates 27 communities in seven states. Affinity is managed by Axis Residential, Inland’s property management company. It has three additional properties also under construction in the Pacific Northwest.

The east Bend property was purchased in 2016 for about $4.5 million, according to city records.

When will it open: Tentatively spring of 2024.
