Bend residents can now review and provide input on the three art sculpture finalists selected by the Art in Public Places committee and the city of Bend for the 15th Street and Knott Road roundabout.

Artists Amanda Markel from Bozeman, Montana; Bryce Pettit from Durango, Colorado; and Jud Turner from Eugene created their own designs for the sculpture, which will depict a pack of wolves in honor of the nearby Caldera High School’s Wolfpack mascot.

Design renderings will be on display at the Larkspur Community Center from April 4-11 and at the Downtown Bend Public Library from April 12-18. The renderings can also be viewed online at https://artinpublicplaces.org/input-15th-knott/ Comments can also be submitted at that link.

Art in Public Places is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring “permanent, world class art installations to public spaces” throughout Bend. The public art collection is funded by the Bend Foundation and other donors, and public art is gifted to the City of Bend, Deschutes Public Library, Bend Park & Recreation District and other entities.
