Summit’s Carmichael and Mountain View’s Booster to play in Northwest Shootout

Summit’s Pearson Carmichael and Mountain View’s Kasey Booster were selected to play in the Northwest Shootout All-Star Showcase on Sunday at Portland Community College.

The Northwest Shootout, which started in 1994, includes boys and girls all-star basketball games that feature the top senior players from Oregon and Washington.

Joining Booster on the Oregon girls team is Brooke Anderson (Grants Pass), Kyleigh Brown (Silverton), Mahogany Chandler-Roberts (Benson), Mauriana Hashemian-Orr (Benson), Ava Heiden (Sherwood), Kendra Hicks (Jesuit), Rylee Lemen (Putnam), Danaeja Romero Ah Sam (Springfield) and Ally Schimel (Corbett).

Joining Carmichael on the Oregon boys team is Kallen Gutridge (Wilsonville), Terrence Hill Jr. (Roosevelt), Austin Maurer (Cascade Christian), Tanner Overby (Lincoln), Nico Rafalovich (Jesuit), Aiden Rice (Beaverton), Jaden Steppe (Tualatin), Chance White (Roosevelt) and Marley Zeller (Central Catholic).

The games will be held at the Portland Community College Cascade Campus gym. The girls game is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday and the boys game is set for 3 p.m. Advance ticket price is $10 for adults. Door ticket price is $15 for adults and kids 12 and under are free.
