Camp Fire Central Oregon is opening registration for school-year camps openings for grades 5 through 12 June 8 at 4 p.m., significantly earlier than the usual middle of the summer timeframe. The change is designed to ensure families have more time to plan and secure spots in its programs.

During the 2024-25 school year, Camp Fire’s school programs served 469 kids throughout the region. Registration will open via the website, and those families interested in financial assistance are encouraged to apply early.

Camp Fire’s after-school program for south Deschutes County students kindergarten through fifth grade will be moved to Rosland Elementary this fall. La Pine Elementary students will have the opportunity to take a short bus ride to Rosland Elementary.

Camp Fire also offers its after-school program at Three Rivers School in Sunriver and two locations in Bend.
