Hawaiian barbecue restaurant Aloha Cafe, which already has locations in Sunriver and east Bend, opened Dec. 8 in the former restaurant site of 38 Degrees off Mt. Washington Drive in Bend’s NorthWest Crossing neighborhood, said Merv Abe, co-owner.

Abe hopes to tap into traffic from Summit High School and Central Oregon Community College students and offer affordable lunch and dinner dining for west-side neighborhoods, he said. Prices range from $6 to $12.25, Abe said.
