Oregon saw the largest increase to its home prices of any state in the country over a 12-month period ending in November, according to a report released Tuesday by the real estate analysis firm CoreLogic.

CoreLogic has created a proprietary index, known as the Home Price Index, to track single-family home prices, according to the company’s news release. In Oregon, the November index increased by 10.3 percent since November 2015, the largest increase in the nation during that period.

Oregon was one of two states where the index increased by double digits over the 12-month period, along with Washington, where the index grew by 10 percent. The national average during that period was 7.1 percent, according to the release.

The Bend-Redmond Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Deschutes County, exceeded the state’s increase, as the Home Price Index for the metropolitan area increased by 10.5 percent during the same period. The index also grew by 0.4 percent in the Bend-Redmond area between October and November, according to the release.
