Carroll Leanne Hannah-Pheil of Bend died Saturday. She was 63.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eastmont Church in Bend. Burial will follow at Deschutes Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hannah-Pheil was born Sept. 26, 1937, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. She attended Eastmont Church in Bend and was employed by Mount Bachelor Candle Factory. She enjoyed her family, all wildlife, walks and hummingbirds.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Pheil of Bend; mother, Opal Hannah of Minden, Nev.; daughters, Lori Aitken of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Sandra Lawrence of Yakima, Wash.; two sons, Brad Minnis of Fremont, Calif. and Leo Lotito of Bend; four sisters, Shirley Henderson of Chase, British Columbia, Canada, Ruth Phillips of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Joan Patterson of Lake Almanor, Calif., and Gail Hipple of Minden, Nev.; a brother, Vern Hannah of Calgary; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society. Autumn Funerals is in charge of the arrangements.

Stephanie M. Zylewitz

Stephanie M. Zylewitz of Redmond died of natural causes Thursday at Central Oregon Community Hospital. She was 39.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Redmond Memorial Cemetery with Father Leo Weckerle officiating.

Ms. Zylewitz was born Aug. 13, 1961, in Hollywood, Calif., to Bernard M. and Betty R. (Rogers) Zylewitz. She moved to Redmond with her parents in 1973. After graduating from Redmond High School she attended Central Oregon Community College where she was enrolled in the nursing program.

Shortly after, her health prevented her from working.

She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Redmond.

She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother, aunts, uncles and cousins.
