Sally (Nagel) Drobner-Arant

Sally (Nagel) Drobner-Arant of Bend died Monday of natural causes. She was 90.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Spiritual Awareness Center in Bend.

Mrs. Drobner-Arant was born March 3, 1911, in Poland to Moshe and Bella Nagel. She married Leonard Arant on July 26, 1990, in Reno, Nev.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of Bend; one son, Rick Drobner of La Crescent, Calif.; two sisters, Ann Turick and Esther Jacobs; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Earl ‘Squirrely’ L. Wilkerson III

Earl ”Squirrely” L. Wilkerson III of Wapato, Wash., died Aug. 25. He was 66.

No services will be held at his request.

Mr. Wilkerson was born in 1935 in Martinez, Calif., to Earl II and Margaret (Eby) Wilkerson. He married Linda Cahoon in 1959.

He served in the Marine Corps. He was a lineman then earned his operator’s ticket to run heavy equipment.

Mr. Wilkerson enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time at his cabin in Idaho.

Survivors include his mother; one son, Mark of Kitsap Lake, Wash.; two daughters, Pam Wilkerson-Gardner and Lisa, both of Yakima, Wash.; three brothers, Dan of Sunriver, Bob of Nampa, Idaho, and Rich of Crescent Lake; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Richard ‘Rich’ Lewis Marsh

Richard ”Rich” Lewis Marsh of Bend died Friday of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease and cancer. He was 62.

A funeral service was held for him. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.

Mr. Marsh was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Cayuga, N.Y., to George and Beatrice (Clark) Marsh. He married Shirley on Aug. 11, 1958, in Peoria, Ill.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea.

Mr. Marsh worked for Haggerdy Steel. He and his family moved to Alaska, where he worked in the Engineering Dept. of Humana Hospitals.

He moved to Bend three years ago.

Survivors include his wife of Bend; two sons, Russell and Timothy, both of Bend; two daughters, Suzanna Gosch of Creve Couer, Ill., and Pamela Greenhalgh of Soldotna, Alaska; one brother, Robert of Auburn, N.Y.; two sisters, Sharon Phelps of Elmwood, Ill., and Suzanne Renird of Auburn, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1230 NE Third St A-180, Bend 97701.
