Peggy Lou Dillon

April 20, 1931 – May 10, 2002

Peggy Lou Dillon (Ford) of Bend died Friday of natural causes. She was 71.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. today at Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at noon. A private burial will take place at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Dillon was born April 20, 1931, in Beulah, N.D. She married Emmett Dillon in 1965. Mrs. Dillon worked as a nurse for the elderly and had lived in Bend for more than six years. She enjoyed singing, dancing, sewing, cooking and camping and was very funny.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Donna Stiff of Bend, Karen Doud of Portland and Diane McFeron of Portland; three sons, Joe Listro of Portland, Billy Listro of Portland and Tony Listro of California; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Robert M. Bob’ Vance

Oct. 1, 1915 – May 11, 2002

Robert M. ”Bob” Vance of Bend died Saturday of natural causes. He was 86.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow.

Mr. Vance was born Oct. 1, 1915. His wife’s name is Berta. Mr. Vance worked as a produce manager for Ralph’s Supermarket for several years. He lived in Chiloquin for more than 20 years, from about 1976 to 1997 and in Bend for about 4+ years.

He is survived by two sons, Brad Vance of Bend and Brenton A. Vance of Gold River, Calif.; two daughters, Penny J. Garlow of Burbank, Calif., and Paulette J. Blaisdell of Simi, Calif.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
