Jane (Love) Cloutier

Nov. 26, 1921 – June 19, 2002

Jane (Love) Cloutier of Bend died Wednesday of natural causes. She was 80.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Chapel.

Mrs. Cloutier was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Seattle to Malcolm and Margaret Reed. She was adopted by Wenzel Love when her mother remarried. She graduated from Northwestern University and married Robert L. Cutter in 1942.

She was a stage actress and model and had a part in the movie ”Indian Fighter,” which was shot in Bend. She married Harry Cloutier in 1967.

Mrs. Cloutier enjoyed golf and bridge.

Survivors include her husband of Bend; four sons, John Cutter of Wilbraham, Mass., Thomas Cutter of Portland, Daniel Cutter of Bend and Timothy Cutter of San Francisco; two daughters, Susan Brody of Ross, Calif., and Christina (Kiki) of Aspen, Colo.; a half-sister, Jacqueline Carey of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ralph L. Paugh

Dec. 11, 1931 – June 20, 2002

Ralph L. Paugh of Bend died Thursday of natural causes. He was 70.

No service will held per his request.

Mr. Paugh was born Dec. 11, 1931, in Jamesport, Mo. He married Ruth Bacchus on July 4, 1960, in Canada.

He served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1966.

Mr. Paugh worked for the Forest Service until 1976.

He was affiliated with VFW Post 1383 in Klamath Falls.

Survivors include his wife of Bend; a son, Marc Gerdes of Carson City, Nev.; three daughters, Terry Gwin and Dana Schreiber, both of Bend, and Nikki; two sisters; three brothers; and three grandchildren.

Bessie W. Castator

May 8, 1915 – June 1, 2002

Bessie W. Castator of Ligonier, Ind., died June 1. She was 87.

An inurnment will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Pilot Butte Cemetery.
