Judith Mary
(Lehto) Corbett
April 25, 1942 – Nov. 21, 2002
Judith Mary (Lehto) Corbett of Klamath County died Nov. 21 of cancer and diabetes. She was 60.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ward’s Klamath Funeral Home. A gathering of friends will be held on Dec. 7, at the Marine Corp League Leatherneck Club. Burial will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Corbett was born April 25, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wis., to William and Leona (Schumann) Lehto. She attended schools in Bend where she helped form the Bend Girls Gymnastics team and served as captain for two years. After school, she delivered newspapers for The Bulletin. She graduated from Klamath Union High School. She married Olaf Johnson in 1960.
Mrs. Corbett was a homemaker.
She was a volunteer for Cub Scouts and PTA. She served on the state board and helped write legislation to provide academics for gifted children.
Mrs. Corbett was affiliated with the Zion Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
She married William Corbett on Feb. 9, 1971.
Mrs. Corbett enjoyed professional sewing, crafts, embroidery and dancing.
Survivors include her son, Randy Johnson of Hillsboro; two stepdaughters, Vicki Corbett of Wilsonville and Jo Rockefellor of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her mother of Bend; three brothers, William Lehto Jr. and Gordon Lehto, both of Bend and Frank Lehto of Medford; one sister, Karen Lehto of Yreka, Calif.; and stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Corbett, her father and a brother.

Jacqueline Prull
Oct. 1, 1949 – Nov. 22, 2002
Jacqueline Prull of Bend died Friday of cancer. She was 53.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Spiritual Awareness Community, 157 NW Franklin Ave., Bend.
Mrs. Prull was born Oct. 1, 1949, in Louisville, Ky., to Max and Miriam Broida. She married Stephen Prull on Aug. 21, 1983, in Nevada City, Calif.
She earned a master’s degree in French literature and worked as a teacher.
Mrs. Prull enjoyed horses and spiritual studies. Her hobbies also included writing and poetry.
Survivors include her husband of Bend; two sons, Joshua and Daniel; her mother of Chicago; and two brothers, Fred Grossman and Ron Broida.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Lucille Irene
Fehrenbacher
Aug. 2, 1914 – Nov. 25, 2002
Lucille Irene Fehrenbacher of Prineville died Monday of natural causes. She was 88.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Prineville Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Prineville.
Mrs. Fehrenbacher was born Aug. 2, 1914, in Bickelton, Wash., to Charles and Laura Berney. She attended schools in Corbett and graduated in 1932. She attended Monmouth Normal School. She married George Fehrenbacher on June 15, 1942, in Portland.
She was a school teacher in Banks and Fairview.
Mrs. Fehrenbacher was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Prineville. She was a volunteer at the Ochoco Care Center.
She enjoyed practicing her faith, cooking, crossword puzzles and crewel embroidery.
Survivors include her son, Doug of Hermiston; one daughter, Kay Erlandson of Flower Mound, Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Joann M. Bentson
June 4, 1938 – Nov. 22, 2002
Joann M. Bentson of La Pine died Nov. 22 of natural causes. She was 64.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Deschutes Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Deschutes Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bentson was born June 4, 1938, in Salem to Clive and Laura (Crow) Scott. She graduated from North Salem High School in 1956. She married James Bentson on May 15, 1983.
She was a corrections officer for Marion County. She retired in 1983 and moved to La Pine.
She enjoyed bowling, crafts, snowmobiling and pottery.
Survivors include her daughter, Krista Stevens of Keizer; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Norris of Auburn, Wash., and Erica Bentson of Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Gloria Werner of Roseburg; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.

Stacy Ann Blood
May 9, 1971 – Oct. 6, 2002
Stacy Ann Blood of Beaverton died Oct. 6 in an automobile accident in Tampa, Fla. She was 31.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Alfalfa Community Church. A wake will follow at Bobbie Jo Blood’s residence.
Ms. Blood was born May 9, 1971, in Klamath Falls. She earned an associate’s degree in accounting and was completing a bachelor’s degree in business accounting at the time of her death.
She previously attended Central Oregon Community College and Oregon State University.
Survivors include her two sons, Levi Winn and Jacob Blood, both of Apollo Beach, Fla.; her father, Rick Payment of Yakima, Wash.; her mother, Julie Ann Blood of Apollo Beach, Fla.; one brother, Todd Blood of Bend; and two sisters, Teresa Ayers of La Pine and Bobbie Jo Blood of Bend.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather and a brother.
Lilly M. (Antonic) Braaten
June 5, 1920 – Nov. 23, 2002
Lilly M. Braaten of Lake Oswego died Nov. 23 of cancer. She was 82.
A private service will be held.
Mrs. Braaten was born June 5, 1920, in Ellensburg, Wash. She graduated from Bend High School. She married Clifford Braaten in 1938.
She founded C.L.B. Enterprises in 1975.
Survivors include her son, William of Lake Oswego; one daughter, Janice Long of Oregon City; and four grandchildren.

Oma Ruth Peden
Feb. 26, 1924 – Nov. 27, 2002
Oma Ruth Peden of Bend died Wednesday. She was 78.
No service will be held.
Mrs. Peden was born Feb. 26, 1924, in Malvern, Ark., to Harvey and Bertha (Cooker) Williams. She married Alike Peden in 1987 in Mina, Ark.
She worked as a baker in Arkansas.
Mrs. Peden enjoyed gardening and yard work.
Survivors include her husband of Bend; two daughters, Mary Dollins of Independence, Mo., and Ruth Sanders of Fort Meyers, Fla.; two brothers, Tommy Williams and Horace Williams both of Malvern, Ark.; three sisters, Sybil Baker, Bertha Greeno and Norma Jean Williams all of Malvern, Ark.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
