Josephine Helen Belz of Bend died Thursday of natural causes. She was 91.

No service will be held.

Mrs. Belz was born June 25, 1912, in Beacon Falls, Conn., to Joseph and Marcella Wailonis. She married William Belz in New York City.

Mrs. Belz moved to Bend in 1993 and attended First Presbyterian Church in Bend. She enjoyed taking care of young children.

Survivors include her daughter, Eda Daeuble of Bend; a sister, Sophie Solberg of Connecticut; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and a sister.
