Jerry Seinfeld – the creator, producer and star of ”the show about nothing” – will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland.

The stand-up comedian toured the country before launching the television show ”Seinfeld” in 1990. He released the book ”SeinLanguage,” based on his comic observations, in 1993. After the ”Seinfeld” series ended, he was featured in the documentary ”Comedian,” which followed him on and off stage as he traveled for a national stand-up tour.
