Five Central Oregon businesses have been included in this year’s list of the 100 best companies to work for in Oregon.

The rankings, given annually by Oregon Business Magazine, are determined by surveys of the company’s management and employees.

All Oregon companies with 15 or more employees were invited to take part in the survey.

Companies with between 15 and 250 employees were included in the small category while companies with 250 or more employees were put in the large category.

Telecommunications and wireless company Edge Wireless, based in Bend, was ranked as the second best small company to work for in Oregon.

Combined Communications, a broadcasting group in Bend, was ranked as the eighth best small company to work for.

In the large division, Bank of the Cascades was named the ninth best company to work for in the state.

Bend-based title insurance company AmeriTitle ranked 33rd on the list of best places to work, while Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond ranked 40th.
