Bruce Churchill, manager of corporate and land development with Hap Taylor and Sons, said the acquisition will allow the company to continue to grow and provide career opportunities for its employees.
”It also provides our people the ability to service clients with an interest in going into the Boise area,” Churchill said.
Churchill said Masco, Inc., which employs 170 people, will retain its own name and management team. But the acquisition will give Hap Taylor and Sons the flexibility to share resources and crew members.
”We have employees here who are excited to move out there … and they have employees that want to come out here,” Churchill said.
Masco, Inc. had annual revenues of about $35 million in 2003, according to Hap Taylor and Sons.
Todd Taylor, president of Hap Taylor and Sons, said about 70 percent of the company’s projects are in Central Oregon, with the rest in Klamath and Washington Counties.
