Fly Fishing Masters set for Oregon, Aug. 13-18

The 2004 Fly Fishing Masters Western Regional qualifying competition will take place Aug. 13-18 with casting at the Running Y Resort in Klamath Falls and fishing at Yamsi Ranch on the Williamson River.
Fly Fishing Masters, now entering its second season, is a competition dedicated to crowning the best fly anglers in America. The unique event showcases the sport of fly fishing and displays the talent and grace of America’s finest fly anglers in a format that tests their casting and angling skills. The regional qualifiers as well as the final competition will air on Outdoor Life Network.
Comprised of four regional qualifying events and a national final, Fly Fishing Masters is a two-person team competition that will feature 400 competitors competing for more than $50,000 in cash and prizes. Each qualifier consists of a casting competition followed by a fishing compeitition for the top eight casting teams.
A limited number of competition spots remain in the Wester Qualifier and the entry deadline has been extended until Sunday.
