Fire damages vehicles at Robberson Ford

A fire that started on a strip of bushes and trees in front of the Robberson car dealership in north Bend late Friday night destroyed four vehicles and damaged another nine. No one was injured. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Car dealer Jeff Robberson estimated the cost of the damage to be between $250,000 and $300,000. They were all insured.The fire burned at least four of the vehicles to the ground and seriously damaged four more. The remaining five have minor damage like melted plastic parts. It’s the first fire ever to break out at a Robberson car dealership, Robberson said. The business has existed since 1957.
