Caldera arts center has received a $30,000 grant from the Betty Lou Roberts Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation. Caldera is a nonprofit organization, located on Blue Lake near Suttle Lake, whose mission is to foster artistic creativity and appreciation for the environment for artists and underserved youth. It recently opened the Hearth Building, a performing-arts center with performance spaces, artist studios, a library and commercial kitchen. It offers youth camps in the summer.
