Helen Marie Logan of Bend died Friday of natural causes. She was 93.
A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, at Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home in Bend. A rosary will follow at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, at the same location. Interment will be held at Pilot Butte Cemetery in Bend.
Mrs. Logan was born Sept. 14, 1911, in Belfast, N.Y., to George and Bernice (Morgan) Burke. She graduated from high school in Belfast, N.Y. She married Paul A. Logan on Dec. 15, 1931, in Belfast, N.Y.
Mrs. Logan was a teacher. She was a member of the Garden Club, Altar Society and Home Extension. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, gardening, sewing and traveling.
Survivors include a son, Paul B. of Bend; three daughters, Anne Conner of Springfield, Paula Mertz of Eugene and Carroll Maguire of Cupertino, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.

Donald J. Baker
Dec. 13, 1927 – Oct. 12, 2004
Donald J. Baker of Madras died Oct. 12 of natural causes. He was 76.
A memorial service will be held from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Madras Senior Center.
Mr. Baker was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Enterprise to Gilbert and Violet (McNeill) Baker. He married Lorraine M. Ricard in La Grande.
Mr. Baker served in the Navy. He worked as a log loader operator until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife of Madras; two sons, Steve and Ken, both of Madras; a daughter, Connie Herbst of Madras; a brother, Jack of La Pine; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
William H. Bill’ Bloom
Dec. 15, 1927 – Oct. 15, 2004
William H. ”Bill” Bloom of Vancouver, Wash., died Friday. He was 76.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Hostess House, 10017 NE 6th Ave., in Vancouver.
Mr. Bloom was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Montreal, Quebec. He married Jeannine Bloom on Jan. 20, 1949, at their home.
Mr. Bloom owned and operated a McDonald’s in Bend for 20 years. He enjoyed bocce and playing cards with friends.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; a daughter, Nanette Bittler of Bend; a brother, Ronald of Ontario, Canada; and four grandchildren.

Margaret L. Marge’ Reisinger

Margaret L. ”Marge” Reisinger of La Pine died Saturday of natural causes. She was 78.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, at Grace and Peave Fellowship, 52339 Columbia River Hwy., Scapoose, OR.
Mrs. Reisinger was born May 4, 1926, in Bushland, Texas, to Jesse Reese and Margaret Emma (Lee) Cunningham. She married Frank Reisinger, Oct. 17, 1945, in Richmond, Calif.
Mrs. Reisinger was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines singing group. She enjoyed singing, fishing, boating and reading.
Survivors include her husband of La Pine; three sons, Jerry of Washougal, Wash. and Russ and Alan, both of Scapoose; a daughter, Dale Ann Baughman of Scapoose; a sister, Betty Secor of Dallas; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

George Marion Schnee
George Marion Schnee died Saturday. He was 83.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., today, Oct. 19, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Mitchell.
