Members of Awbrey Glen Golf Club raised more than $20,000 for local needy families through their first ”The Glen Gives” fund-raising effort.The group solicited donations from members and residents of Awbrey Glen and nearby communities, and had a chili cook-off and live auction to raise money. It also received donations from local businesses, including Newport Avenue Market, Merenda Restaurant, Hillside Inn, The Blacksmith Restaurant, Bend Golf and Country Club, Broken Top Country Club and Brooks Resources.
