The Bend Fieldhouse will hold a fast-pitch softball clinic on Feb. 19 and 20 at the Fieldhouse, located at 1182 SE Centennial Court. The clinic is for girls ages 18 and under.Rob Ray and Sue Oran will conduct the clinic, which features several sessions over the two-day period.The tentative schedule includes multiple groups for particular skills. Groups will be determined by age, if the number of participants warrants such a split.On Saturday, Feb. 19, from 9 to 11 a.m., there will be a session for hitting group No. 1, followed by a session for pitching group No. 1 from 12 to 2 p.m. Hitting group No. 2 will meet from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. On Sunday, Feb. 20, from 9 to 11 a.m., there will be a session on throwing, fielding and defense, followed by a 12 to 2 p.m. session for pitching group No. 2. From 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., there will be a second clinic on fielding, throwing and defense.Cost is $55 per group for the sessions on hitting, fielding, throwing and defense, and $35 per group for pitching.
