Registration for the Bend Metro Park and Recreation District youth roller-hockey program is set for March 1 to 4, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the district office, 200 NW Pacific Park Lane.The fast-paced league is open to boys and girls, ages 6 to 17. Games and practices will be held at Juniper Park’s roller-hockey rink in Bend. Teams will practice twice weekly and play eight games during the 10-week program, which runs May 9 through July 22.Participants must supply the following equipment: skates, full helmet with cage, mouthpiece, knee pads, gloves, elbow and shin pads, and a hockey stick.Cost is $62 for in-district participants and $84 otherwise.For more information, call Rich at 389-7275, ext. 126.
