A ”Community Clean Up” in Crook County is scheduled for the Crook County Landfill 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.Throughout the day, the landfill will accept yard waste and debris, nonfunctioning appliances and recyclables (including cardboard, newspaper, glass, aluminum, milk jugs and used motor oil) at no charge.The regular disposal fee applies to household waste.The landfill is on Houston Lake Road behind the Prineville Airport.
