Sherri Williamson of Conifer, Colo., was the winning bidder at the June silent benefit auction held by the Barclay Gallery in Sisters.Williamson walked with a 30-inch high, one-piece metal sculpture of a horse by Iowa artist Gail Chavenelle. The proceeds from the auction will help fund the Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Center in Bend. The Barclay Gallery hosts a silent, month-long auction each month to benefit local charities. The gallery’s current auction is of a painting by Oregon artist Joel Harris, which will benefit The Americana Project, Sisters’ art education outreach program.
